About Us:
Razing Studios is an independent game development studio incubated at La Plaine Images in Tourcoing and Innov’a in Amiens. We specialize in creating immersive games made by players, for players, and are currently working on an online card game project. We’re seeking a talented and passionate 2D Concept Artist who loves dark, futuristic worlds to join our team and help bring this unique universe to life.
Responsibilities:
• Design and create visual concepts for the game’s cards, following the cyberpunk style (characters, objects, environments).
• Create interface elements and thematic icons, incorporating futuristic details and sci-fi-inspired aesthetics.
• Work closely with the design team and developers to ensure visual consistency between concepts and gameplay.
• Participate in creating moodboards and research boards to inspire and reinforce the game’s visual universe.
• Iterate and adapt concepts based on feedback from the creative team.
Desired Profile:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a concept artist in the video game industry or on similar projects.
• Strong proficiency in graphic design tools (Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalents).
• Proven illustration skills in the cyberpunk style or similar, with a keen eye for detail, color, and texture.
• Ability to work in a team and interpret art briefs to meet the project’s creative needs.
• Good understanding of the constraints involved in card game development, particularly for a cross-platform format.
Additional Assets:
• Experience on projects with a cyberpunk or sci-fi style.
• Familiarity with visual management tools (Miro, Jira) and inspiration-sharing platforms (Pinterest, ArtStation).
• Strong interest in futuristic and technological themes.
