GAME DESIGNER / QA
Location: Amiens (Partial work from home possible)

About Us:
Razing Studios is an independent game development studio incubated at Innov’A in Amiens, France. We are currently developing an online card game designed for both mobile and PC platforms, blending strategic gameplay, asymmetric mechanics, and a rich cyberpunk universe. We are looking for a passionate and creative Game Design Intern to join our team and help shape the core gameplay systems and overall player experience.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop gameplay mechanics for a tactical and competitive online card game
• Contribute to the creation of core systems and gameplay mechanics
• Build prototypes (paper, spreadsheets, or internal tools) to test and iterate on ideas quickly
• Collaborate with technical and artistic teams to ensure consistency between gameplay and the project’s creative direction
• Assist with playtesting, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement of game mechanics
Profile:
• Training in Game Design (video game school or equivalent university degree)
• Solid understanding of card game mechanics, strategy games, or board games
• Ability to structure and document ideas clearly and thoroughly
• Comfortable with prototyping tools (Office Suite, Machinations, Figma, Confluence, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of user experience, game logic, and balancing principles
• Team spirit, curiosity, and proactiveness
Additional Assets:
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine or digital creation tools
• Interest in card games
• Passion for cyberpunk worlds and competitive gameplay
• Personal or student projects related to game design (prototypes, game jams, etc.)
