About Us:
Razing Studios is an independent game development studio incubated at Innov’a in Amiens. We are developing an online card game designed for mobile and PC platforms. We are looking for a skilled gameplay programmer, specialized in Unreal Engine and online development, to join our team and bring technical expertise to this project.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement advanced gameplay systems using Unreal Engine (Blueprints + C++)
• Support the development of client-server gameplay logic with a focus on latency and synchronization
• Collaborate closely with game designers to refine card mechanics, effects, and player interactions
• Optimize game performance across platforms (mobile and PC)
• Review and refactor existing code to ensure scalability and maintainability
• Troubleshoot critical bugs and provide technical mentoring to junior devs if needed
Profile:
• 5+ years of experience as a gameplay programmer, including shipped titles
• Strong command of Unreal Engine (C++ and Blueprints), including networking layer
• Solid understanding of replication, matchmaking, and session handling
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization for mobile/PC
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of features
• Clear communicator, proactive, and solution-oriented
Additional Assets:
• Experience with backend tools such as PlayFab, Photon, or AWS
• Passion for card games or competitive online experiences
• Affinity for cyberpunk or futuristic sci-fi settings
